Enter details such as your email address, why you're studying Japanese, and your proficiency level.

Lesson

Learn the flow of conversations and expressions used in daily life and practice speaking.
The conversations are in a variety of settings, such as making a restaurant reservation, applying for a part-time job, moving house, handling residence card procedures, and more.

In each setting, there are three steps to help you learn by repeating and practicing.

First is the 3-Person Lesson (3人レッスン). Listen to the flow of conversation and expressions, learn them, then practice speaking.
Chat with the AI cats Tomo-kun and Neko Senpai, and let the story flow.

When you see 「聞いてください」(Please listen) or 「言ってください」 (Please say it), it's your turn. Listen once, then repeat out loud.
Join the conversation as the third character, to help the story unfold.
The stories are interesting. You will have fun getting the conversation going!

The next step is Grammar Practice (構文練習), where you practice using the expressions you have learned, as well as new vocabulary.
Here, too, listen first and then repeat out loud.

The final step is Conversation Practice (会話で実践).
Check the conversation setting and practice tasks, then start chatting.
Tomo-kun will be your partner, acting parts such as the shop clerk or a friend.

After you complete the tasks and end the conversation, you can receive detailed comments to look back on.
AI makes the evaluations, so take them as a helpful reference and understand that it's one way to look at it.
You can receive comments in Japanese, English, or Chinese, according to your language settings.

Chat

Chat with Tomo-kun about everyday things.

If you're not sure of the right words to use, look at the hints.
Don't worry about making mistakes. Just keep the conversation going!

You can check reviews of your conversations in Chat by going to your My Page.

Each time you start a conversation in Lesson or Chat, you need to give the cats one Taiyaki (fish-shaped cake).
You will receive five Taiyaki at first. After that, you will get three a day, when you log in.
It's a great way to keep talking in Japanese every day, a little bit at a time!
